“Waterproof”
So my daughter had a great time with her Slash up at grandpa’s on the gravel and dirt road and running it through the puddles. I’m pretty sure it was still running when she got done but I guess I’m not sure. I used my pressure washer on a very light fan setting to clean off all of the debris which was mostly sand and dirt on the inside tray and around the arms and wheels. I finished by using my air compressor to blow out all of the water. I was running a Speed Gem brushed motor in it because the factory Titan fried. Well now the Speed Gem is no longer working. I’m guessing that because the speed control still works for the servo and I can hook up a battery directly to the motor and nothing happens, that water got into the motor and smoked it. It will be interesting to see if I can fix it. Gonna pull it and take it up to the local hobby shop soon. Might be time for brushless. Will post a video of the fix when I get a new HD video camera.
